GLUMA is the only desensitizer proven to penetrate exposed dentinal tubuli up to 200 μm1. The result is the formation of multiple layers of protein septa that prevent intertubular fluid  movements due to osmotic changes. It inhibits the growth of bacteria colonies by providing a hermetic seal that acts as a microbial barrier. GLUMA resurrects collapsed collagenous fibres, improving the bond strength of many adhesives.

GLUMA Comfort Bond is a light curing, single component bonding agent for use in combination with adhesive restorations. GLUMA Comfort Bond was developed for bonding composite,  compomer and Polyglas® resins to the tooth structure as well as for bonding amalgams and indirect restorations (e.g. porcelain). GLUMA Comfort Bond primes and bonds in one step.

GLUMA Comfort Bond is an ethanol based formulation of light-activated, adhesive resins. Prior to the application of GLUMA Comfort Bond the tooth structure is conditioned with GLUMA® Etch 35 Gel.

Indications

1. Bonding of direct composite, Polyglas® and compomer restorations.
2. Bonding of fresh amalgam
3. Bonding of indirect restorations: Porcelain, Polyglas® and composite restorations (inlays, onlays, veneers, crowns).
4. Sealing hypersensitive areas of teeth.
